Position Summary

The Marketing Assistant will support the planning, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns and community outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone organized, creative, bilingual (preferred), and passionate about helping businesses and community organizations grow.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with social media management across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Create and schedule marketing content, graphics, and promotional materials
Help coordinate and promote EVHCC events, workshops, and networking activities
Support email marketing campaigns and newsletter creation
Assist with website updates and basic content management
Monitor engagement, analytics, and campaign performance
Help capture photos/videos during events for marketing use
Maintain marketing calendars and organize digital assets
Support outreach efforts with members, sponsors, and community partners
Perform other administrative and marketing-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous marketing, communications, or administrative experience preferred
Preferred Skills
Content creation and copywriting
Photography and short-form video editing
Event promotion and coordination
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing
